Meet the Staff

  • Bokmeyer is in year two as Varsity Boys Head Coach and Program Director, helping to start the program in its inaugural season in 2022-2023. During this first season, the team was awarded the Don Carnes Award, given to the program in Central Texas, regardless of class, by the Central Texas Officials Association to the program who most embodies respect for the game and sportsmanship.

    Bokmeyer joined Liberty Hill after spending three years in North Carolina rebuilding the program at St. Andrews University as Head Coach. The first season in 2020 was cut short due to COVID-19 but in 2021, SAU reached the conference semifinals, eventually losing to the national champions.

    Prior to his tenure at SAU, Bokmeyer served as the Associate Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator at the University of Texas for the 2017 and 2018 seasons and helped lead them to 19 wins over two years. He coached the defense to a No. 2 ranking in the country and coached multiple All-Conference Defensive Players, Rookie of the Year, and an All-American.

    Before Texas, he was the Program Director and Varsity Head Coach at Smithson Valley High School (TX) and was also the Associate Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator at NCAA Division II Adams St. University (CO) from 2012-14. He got his coaching start in California working at two high schools in the mid-2000s and was also the head women’s lacrosse coach at Sonoma St. University (CA) in 2008-09. He then worked as the Assistant Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator at Chico St. University in California from 2010-12.

    During his playing career, Bokmeyer was recruited as both an offensive and defensive midfielder for NCAA D-1 U.S. Military Academy at West Point, NY and attended from 2004-06. He was an Academic All-American, First Team All-Grossmont Conference, and First Team County CIF attackman and midfielder in San Diego, graduating from Granite Hills High School in 2004.

    He currently resides in Liberty Hill, Texas with his wife Katelyn, son and daughter. Bokmeyer received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Colorado St. University and his M.B.A. in Finance from Washington St. University

  • Coach Pat joined the Loyal Forever/ Austin High Lacrosse / Austin Youth Lacrosse family in 2023. Previously, he was the Offensive Coordinator for the University of Texas Men’s Lacrosse team which won the 2023 LSA Conference Championship and went on to compete in the National Tournament.

    Originally from Leonardtown, MD, Coach Pat attended St. Mary’s Ryken High School, where he was a standout player and earned numerous accolades, including being named 1st Team All WCAC, All-Met (DC-Metro), and WCAC Conference Champion.

    After high school, Brennan went on to attend The United States Military Academy at West Point, where he continued to excel as a midfielder. He was a three-year EMO and midfield starter, helping his team to win the Patriot League Championship and make it to the NCAA Quarterfinals.

    After graduating, Brennan stayed at West Point, where he served as the athletic liaison for the Army men’s lacrosse team and also worked as an assistant coach for the Army Prep School lacrosse team. Later, while stationed at Fort Hood, Brennan worked with many of the youth lacrosse teams in the Austin area and most recently served as the Offensive Coordinator for the University of Texas Longhorns lacrosse team.

    Played alongside current and previous professional lacrosse players on a men's training team with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Netanya, Israel at the Lacrosse World Championship tournament in 2018

    Played over 22 games in 10 days with developing World teams including Scotland, Korea, Uganda, and more.

    Serve as a development and team lead for the Ukrainian National Lacrosse team and the Ukrainian youth development program.

    Ran multiple camps for Ukrainian youth and men's lacrosse programs through partnering with FCA Ukraine

    Hosted many local youth lacrosse camps for North Austin

    Married to his wife Kirsten and they have 5 children ranging from 22-12 years old.

  • Hayden’s lived in Texas his whole life. He grew up in Dallas and started playing lacrosse in the 4th grade. He played under the coaching of Chris Surran for eight years including his four years at the elite Dallas Jesuit program. Hayden was a four-year starter and captain in his senior year. Coach Surran taught Hayden lacrosse was more than just a game and helped him fall in love with the sport of lacrosse. While at Jesuit, Hayden was also a three-year letterman in football and a captain his senior year. After graduation from Dallas Jesuit, Hayden went on to attend the University of Texas at Austin.

    At the University of Texas, Hayden played lacrosse for four years where he was named All-Conference all four years and a two time Academic All-American. In addition, Hayden was named a captain of the team for the last three years. Throughout college, he spent summer and winter breaks coaching youth lacrosse throughout Dallas. Once he graduated from Texas, Hayden decided to stay in Austin and begin his adult career. While living in Austin, Hayden has coached lacrosse for Lake Travis in their youth program from 2019 to 2021 and was a varsity assistant coach for Vandegrift High School in the spring of 2022.
